Mysore palace is one of the most visited tourist attractions in India. The Ambavilas Palace was built during 1897 to 1912 with Henry Irwin as the architect is the top tourist attraction of Mysore.
Wodeyers who ruled Mysore for over 500 years (1399 to 1947) were great fans of art & craft. This magnificent building is located in the center of Mysore city. The whole building is beautifully illuminated in the evening (Between 7pm to 7.45 pm) during Sundays & all public holidays.
If you are visiting during the day time, you can visit many parts of inside palace. Photography is not allowed inside the palace.
As a tourist, you can plan to visit he Mysore palace once during the day time 7 once during the evening after 7pm.
Timings: Everyday from 10am to 5.30 pm.
Illumination timings: Sundays & Public Holidays :7pm-7.30 pm
